The changes are so expansive and grand that Oceania Cruises has called the effort a re-inspiration. After a dramatic series of enhancements, including completely new suites and staterooms, Regatta, Insignia, and Sirena are better-than-new ships and a touch more sophisticated, with Nautica’s re-inspiration coming in June 2020. A lighter sea and sky color palette fills the all-new public spaces and is accented with crisp white millwork, sparkling Italian glass chandeliers, bespoke glass artwork, and stunning Verre églomisé walls. All 342 suites and staterooms are new from top to bottom with luxurious touches such as decadent marble, classic granite, glittering sconces, and opulent European fabrics. From bespoke designer furniture to airy new color palettes, each vessel now feels as if fresh from the shipyard. Though the chic and continental ambiance of Oceania Cruises’ re-inspired quartet was inspired by the aesthetic of their newer fleet mates, the passion for flawless detail kindled a re-inspiration of Marina and Riviera as well. The re-mastered Riviera debuted in April 2019, while Marina will be unveiled in May 2020. A tiny new lounge and coffee bar with sweeping sea views crowns the ships while rich fabrics and sumptuous carpeting in stylish tones of caramel, ivory, and espresso complement the stylish décor of the suites and staterooms. The three jewel-like Owner’s Suites are likewise all-new and furnished exclusively from the Ralph Lauren Home Collection with treasures such as Cote D’Azure king-size beds, elegant Mayfair Bergere side chairs, and gloriously sublime Mayfair dining tables. With a lively new air to all six of the line’s ships, OceaniaNEXT signals an exciting new era for Oceania Cruises. There’s never been a better time to plan a cruise on one of their designer-inspired, intimate ships for a truly unforgettable vacation experience.
